This page is dedicated to the biodiversity of the Rhodope region and the rivers Struma and Mesta, which fall into the cross-border region with the Hellenic Republic. The platform contains information about the protected areas, plant and animal species in the area. Some of the developed documents under the project "WILD LIFE FOR EVER", funded by the Cross-Border Cooperation Program INTERREG V-A Greece - Bulgaria 2014 - 2020 have been published. Useful information is provided for tourists and nature lovers interested in biodiversity in southern Bulgaria.

The section "Protected areas and species" presents information on protected areas and Natura 2000 sites, as well as protected species. For the convenience of visitors and tourists, interesting tourist attractions, tips and useful links are included.
